After wrapping up his first visit to Scotland a couple of weeks ago, Andy Johnson is ready to relive it with two podcasts recapping the trip. In this first installment, he and Garrett Morrison start with an in-depth discussion of Muirfield, the site of this week's AIG Women's Open. I played Elie and Earlsferry last week . It has been an ambition for 15 years having walked round on a family holiday. I reached for my James Braid book on getting home his comment that , ‘unless a man played golf, or there was no very plain reason why he did not , he was generally taken to be something of a crank …..golf in its simplest form, the ball may be hit from where it may lie in the street. ‘ Sums up what a memorable experience this was . No I didn’t have to play from the road :)
